Career Transition & Redundancy Support:
Cairn & Co.
When the path disappears, we help you find the way forward
Practical career transition support after redundancy or proactive support for those investing in their career, built by HR Professionals.
A 30-module career transition program, built from inside the room where these decisions get made.
Redundancy.
A search that has stalled.
A move you are choosing to make before someone makes it for you.
Whatever brought you here, the next steps are clearer than they feel right now. We will walk you through them, at your pace
Someone walked this path first.
They left markers along the way.
We're those people.

Where are you, right now?
The Program is built in a modular basis to suit multiple differing needs.
All content is available from day one. But sixty seconds spent finding your starting point makes the rest of it land better.
Pick the one that sounds most like you.
I have just been made redundant.
The news is recent. It might still feel raw, and that is completely normal. We built the first phase for exactly this moment, before the CV, before the job boards, before the applications.
I am employed but planning a move.
You are not in crisis. You are making a deliberate move. This path builds your strategy before you commence a formal search, the more you invest in planning now, the greater the payoff later
I have been stuck for a while.
You have been at this for some time and something is not working. This path helps you find out why, starting with how you talk about what you actually offer, how you can re-orient yourself and your narrative.
I know what I need.
You have clarity. You want the CV module, the LinkedIn section, or interview preparation only, not the full walk-through. The library is open. Go straight to it
Why this exists
Built by someone who has sat on both sides of the table.
Forward in 30 was built by Colin Hamilton, founder of Cairn & Co., drawing on more than 25 years inside HR: advising boards, designing restructures, running redundancy processes, and supporting people through transitions across the UK and Australia.
Colin is an IECL qualified executive coach, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). That combination giving both a practical coaching lens and a commercial understanding of leadership, governance and organisational decision-making.
The same pattern kept showing up. Capable people, perfectly able to land well, stalling without a framework. Sending the wrong email too soon. Underselling themselves in early conversations. Missing what they were owed. Losing weeks to anxiety that could have been action. This is the framework that should have existed.
Plain English. Action-led. No jargon, no motivational filler. If you could not say it to a friend without cringing, it is not in here
